Do you want to learn how to Meditate using the Tarot?
Find a time that is suitable for you where there will be no distractions for at least half an hour. This will allow you time to write down any thoughts or images that you may experience during the meditation.
Adjust the lighting so that you will not be distracted and sit in an upright position so that you are not tempted to fall asleep. The idea is that you are going to explore within and begin your journey into the Tarot as the Fool, the seeker after experience, and jump into the unknown.

We are going to go within now and direct all of your energy and attention within your self. You are going to go deep inside yourself. Just listen to the sound of your breathing as you begin to count. I want you to push out your stomach as you breathe in and let it fall as you relax. As you breathe in you count 1,2,3,4 and as you breathe out you also count 1,2,3,4. With every breath in you go deeper within your self and with every breath out you feel more and more relaxed. 1,2,3,4 ( Repeat this process for about a minute so as to give your body enough time to get accustomed to this breathing technique)
When you are breathing in a steady rhythm and you feel your body begin to relax, focus your energy and attention on the space just above the crown of your head. Imagine that there is a bright white ball of energy there radiating, scintillating and pulsating white light energy.
Take as much time as you need to visualise this and when you can see it clearly or sense it bring the white light down through the top of your head. See it there clearly as it comes down through the top of your head and begins to travel through your neck and down your spine . Visualise this white ball of energy clearing away any heaviness or tension in your neck and shoulders and sense the clear light as it is coursing down your arms and back, cleansing you like an inner radiant shower.
Bring this ball of white light energy down through your back and into hips and thighs relaxing all the muscles and bones so that the legs feel like they are light as a feather. Imagine this ball of light coming down through your ankles and toes softening all of the bones and releasing all the tension that they may have been carrying. Once you reach the soles of your feet send the light energy down as far as you can until you connect with the core of mother earth. Then you are ready to begin.
Imagine that you are standing high up on a hill with a cloudless blue sky above you and the heat of the midday sun blazing behind you. You feel alive, excited and free. There is a steep ravine behind you and you have a familiar at your feet waiting to tread this journey with you. As you stand here up on this high place take a moment to consider your journey so far.

Where do you want to go?
In this moment you are free of all distractions and immersed totally in your spiritual body and a gentle breeze like the breath of the earth sends a shiver of excitement down your spine and all of the tiny hairs on your body stand on end.
Go now on your journey inward and when you are ready come back energised and ready to proceed.
